I have no idea what I am going to write here. I started on a draft for something else, but I realized I would never be able to finish it in time. I guess i'll just talk about some other random things then.
I am very bad at coming up with ideas, along with the fact that I am currently having writer's block. I was thinking about explaining why I like a certain cartoon so much, and why other people might like it. Then I thought about maybe listing some other things I was into, but then I realized that made me seem vain, so I didn't. But, then again, I am listing it here, so people already know I am narcissistic. Actually, I did just come up with an idea, so I'll start on that now. Thank you, brain! Entropy is a really cool word. It is mostly used in mathematics, but I know the word better with it's other definition, regarding space (space is really cool). Entropy, in this form, is used to describe the slow degradation of black holes, through loss of energy. I won't be able to explain it that thoroughly, but In A Nutshell on Youtube has a great video on that, and other really cool things. I like to think of black holes like a really destructive fire, which has to keep consuming matter to stay lit. However, black holes have a lot more pent up energy, and don't release it as much. Except for when black holes die. When a fire dies, it just goes out, pretty calmly with a bit of smoke. When black holes die, they release a whole lot of energy that can destroy entire solar systems. In A Nutshell did a video explaining this too, where they say that a black hole with the mass of a nickel (not size, that's WEIGHT) could cause an explosion so large it would tear the earth in half, turning it back into a molten ball of lava again. Well that was a lot of off topic things! I think I have enough in there, and the period is almost done, so I'll end this here.

2. What event sets the rising action in motion?
I think that the event that starts the rising action is the part when he first mentions the 'fat lady,' on line 41. This event also gives the main antagonist of the story. 3. What internal conflict is plaguing Martin in lines 81-84? In lines 81-84, Martin considers taking the stairs in order to avoid the old lady, but then he thinks that doing so would prove he is a coward. 6. In lines 145-160 the story takes an unexpected turn. How might this development affect Martin's conflict? In this part, Martin falls down the stairs and ends up having to wear a brace and have crutches. Firstly, this makes it harder to him to walk/run away, so the lady could get to him. Secondly, now his dad is really not impressed, and now would never believe Martin's story. 7. Judging only by line 175, the climax of the story, is Martin in danger? Explain your opinion. I definitely think Martin is in danger, because the old lady has been shown to A) not care about Martin's personal space, meaning she could be a pedophile (sorry, the word works), and B) smile when Martin runs away, so she possibly knew about how he would fall and hurt himself. 8. The author ends this story at the climax. What is your opinion of the plot's development and of leaving the conflict unresolved? Explain. I think that leaving the conflict unresolved is a good writing tactic! It makes the audience think about the previous work, and it also might make them want to read it again. The plot development is also really good for the story, because there is no falling action at all, and the end is the climax. What 3 character traits are most important for a U.S. President?
1) Honesty- I don't think anybody would want a liar as a president. Anybody who lies about how much money they have, previous criminal acts, or tax evasion shouldn't be president, because how do we know they're being honest about their campaign? How do we know they will go through with what they propose? This includes simply not stating relevant facts, as well as outright lying. 2) Ideas/Creativity- I believe a good president has good ideas, about how they want to improve the country and deal with outside threats. They should know when to intervene and when not to. Also, a good president shouldn't have to steal other's campaigns, they should be able to support themself. 3) Experience- I think that government experience is another important character trait. For someone with previous experience, they know how to react to a lot of difficult situations that most people wouldn't know what to do with. A good president should be able to be calm in the face of danger, and keep their wits when they are being attacked. As you should be able to see by my choices, I do not support Donald Trump in the slightest, because he has no experience, and has lied about several things he has done. DO NOT VOTE FOR HIM AT ALL COSTS!!!! hes just an angry cheeto |
